About

I am a native Arkansan (actually born in Macon, GA; moved here when I was two). A youth in the 1970s, I am a long-time fan and student of all things natural and holistic. Thirty years ago, I began learning about organic gardening, herbal healing and other subjects.

Later, I studied nutrition through a certified nutritionist, and in the 21st Century have renewed my interest in holistic healing by studying and taking courses and workshops in natural healing, kundalini yoga, detoxification, organic gardening, meditation, voluntary simplicity, etc. etc.

An eternal student, I am also very passionate about Arkansas (the Natural State), and about its people, both natives and those who are new-to-the state.

Working together, I feel that we can help lift our state to a place where it can become a mecca for holistic healing and health, relaxation and recreation.

I also very much believe in the Mind-Body-Spirit connection (part of the source for the term “holistic” Along those lines, my dream is the realization of the following:

“Thy Name is my healing, O my God, and remembrance
of Thee is my remedy. Nearness to Thee is my
hope, and love for Thee is my companion.

Thy mercy to me is my healing and my succor in both this world and the world to come. Thou, verily, art the All-Bountiful, the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.”
